Mrs Eaves (aka Gemma OBrien) has become one of Australia’s most visible typography enthusiasts. OBrien is a member of the International Society of Typographic Designers, and her practice includes design for the studio Vaux Creative, freelance projects in Sydney and Brisbane including art direction of the publication Tharunka, works for The University of New South Wales and self-initiated campiagns such as the internationally known Write Here Right Now which has received over 200,000 views on YouTube. In 2007, OBrien began an anonymous online publication under the typo-persona of Mrs Eaves.
