Fiodor Sumkin is an byelorussian illustrator who fled his country when he was 18 years old. He sold paintings in Moscow, worked in Milan and Amsterdam and now lives in Paris. His drawings are straight out of the 19th century, ornamental and playful. He is also a type designer and inspired by the psychedelic lettering of the 1960s.
